Work

I was a very technical guy working for some very technical  companies in the ’70’s, ’80’s, ’90’s, and ’00’s.    The web became my second home, but with a day job I never had the time to really explore it’s possibilities.  Anyway, here we are now and I’m no longer a highly paid tech sales guy, but a web/design/branding dude with the creativity that I thought was lost (or buried) long ago.

Below are examples and links to the sites I’ve done since I broke out in 2008.  My ‘storefront’ site is dorman-consulting.com.   If you have any radical ideas that require a quick time line or creative approach, be sure to drop me an e-mail.

Griffin-Owens is the leading Nationwide Insurance franchise in Northern Virginia.   I helped them migrate their static ASP pages to a dynamic Linux/WordPress environment, while adding all kinds of social networking enhancements.

I have a house in the Northern Neck of Virginia (Montoss) and one of my favorite places is the Good Eats Cafe in Kinsale, Va.  Steve and Sally Anderson have consistently set the highest bar for casual, and tasteful, dining in ‘the neck’ at Good Eats and I asked if I could help improve their e-mail communications with customers.  One thing led to another and I was proud to create a new web presence for one of my favorite dining places on the planet.

Give Steve and Sally a chance to present the freshest, most flavorful and seasonal dinners to you and you will be rewarded handsomely.  Find their most recent weekly specials at the Good Eats Cafe web site.
